These are two of the figures I created for my paper.  I know it’s nerdy, but I think they looked sweet.  Figure 1 was used to explain how to convert the trisection of an angle problem from geometric to algebraic terms.  Figure 3 was used to demonstrate how Archimedes trisected an angle using a marked straightedge.  :)

GeoGebra

I’m in the process of writing my History of Math term paper over the trisection of an arbitrary angle.  I needed a way to replicate some figures and illustrations from printed sources, so I found this website that allows you to do geometric constructions.  It’s been really fun to play around with.
