There's many tales I've lived to tell

Everyday I get more and more excited about Thanksgiving break.  While this is not my favorite holiday by any means, there are many traditions I’m looking forward to:

-Emmy is flying down to Oklahoma and driving back with me.  This will be the most time we have been able to spend together in years!

-JD and I will probably pick some show and watch an entire season over a course of a few days.

-Our family will watch the Thanksgiving day parade while cooking.

-We will get the paper on Thanksgiving morning, so we can check out the ads and strategize for Black Fridy shopping.

-JD, Mom, Pat, and I will brave the cold morning to go to one or two stores, where we won’t find anything we want and decide not to wait in the ridiculous lines.  So we will all go get breakfast and call it a day.

-Jen, Nina, Emmy, and I will have our last epic sleepover at the Hile’s house in NoCo.  This will probably entail sitting around their kitchen table eating cheese and crackers, and then going to prank various HBC people.

It may not seem like much, but these are the people I love the most and desperately miss while I’m at school.  And let’s face it, this year I deserve a really good break.  So please Thanksgiving, don’t let me down!
